Japan's news is bringing the lulz today.

✖ Two guys snitch two underage girls and boink with them in a hotel room.

But the one that takes the cake? Some guy approached a woman in the park and explained to her that he was about to become a father and asked to practice holding/nursing the baby she had. When she allowed him to hold the baby, he proceeded to molest the baby by fondling the baby girl's genitalia.
He only got three years? Why?

Oh, and this guy, after being harrassed by his boss, decided to commit suicide by torching himself to death.

Kyo Fanclub Magazine Interview Translation

Alright! This is from the 15th issue of the a knot fanclub magazine. Fans were apparently asked beforehand to send in questions and either Kyo or someone who does the magazine picked questions from those sent in and Kyo answered them. The ones who got their questions picked were sent prizes I believe.

I've encluded the original Japanese that I transcribed from the magazine itself, and then a translation afterwards, with all my translation notes and links to the stuff Kyo mentions that some of us might not know about. If you have any questions or spot any GLARING errors, please don't hesitate to leave me a comment to let me know ^^; I originally did this translation a few years ago and my skill back then was not so awesome. I polished up a few parts but I may have missed something big.

I wonder if we make these inside-out rolls to make the food look more appetizing to Americans? Since these kinds of rolls apparently don't exist in Japan. o.o; You gotta figure that a bunch of rice on the outside looks more appetizing to us than a bunch of green seaweed. But that's just a guess on my part. 8DDD I like it either way.

I was going through my files on my computer and I found a translation I did a few years ago of an interview Kyo did for Dir en grey's fanclub magazine. I recall posting it on Batsu forever ago but I don't remember if I ever posted it on my LJ. I don't think I did and a quick search of my tags doesn't yield anything. People who've been following my journal for a while, does this ring a bell? I don't get it! That chick from before called me again and I told her she had the wrong number and she said okay and apologized but she keeps calling back. She's called me 8 (count them, eight) times in the last two days. The two times I've spoken to her, I've told her that she had the wrong number and that I'm a girl named Allison and that this is my private cell phone number and she says okay and apologizes and then calls me back within a day and asks for the same damn person.

When she called today I said, "Look, I don't know what to tell you. You have the wrong number!" and she said "okay!" and hung up. I'm not too optimistic though, I told her that last time and she called me four times the next day and texted me as well.

I just don't get it. Does she think that by waiting and trying again, the number will magically connect to a different phone?

If she doesn't give this up, I'm gonna contact Sprint about getting her number blocked. This is insane.

Okay, so I just laid down to go to sleep and it's nearly 3 in the morning. I'm in bed, pulling the covers over my head, when my phone starts buzzing on my nightstand.

I peek at it, figuring it's a text or something and I see that its actually a phone call from California (when the number is not listed in my address book and is from out of state, the phone will list which state it's from).

So I hit ignore, since it's not a number in my phone book and it's not even from someone in Nebraska. Well, this person is persistant and they immediately call right back again. I finally sit up and answer it, figuring maybe it's someone on my friends list from the interwebs trying to get a hold of me.

Me: *sounding sleepy as fuck* Hello?
Girl: Hi, is Alex there?
Me: ... who?
Girl: Can I talk to Alex?
Me: ... *not quite hearing this correctly* I'm sorry, who are you trying to get a hold of?
Girl: Can I talk to Alejandro?

At this point I tried to turn up the volume a bit and in my sleepiness I accidently hung up on the girl. I didn't bother to call her back or anything -it's definitely a wrong number and it's nearly 3am but no matter, she just called me back - twice. You would think the answering machine message in Japanese would clue her in to the fact that she's got the wrong number, but she doesn't seem to want to give up. I just turned the ringer off on my phone. Let the idiot call back all she wants; it won't interrupt my sleep.

Incidently, if she calls back when I'm more coherent (and when it's not nearly 3 in the bloody morning), I'll probably plainly inform her that she's calling a cell phone of a white female college student in Nebraska, and that her Alejandro isn't here.

I've been a fan of Japanese TV dramas for about... six months now? I've always been kind of disappointed at how hard they are to locate online (unless you're a BitTorrent person, then I'd imagine it's fairly do-able o.o), and the fact that a lot of Jrock fans don't really know the joys of jdrama. This stuff is gold. 8D! Hot Japanese actors, annoying girls, fantastic plots ("fantastic" as, totally unbelievable 8D)... what better way to spend a week than indulging in Japanese melodrama? Each series has around 10~12 episodes each, with a run time of around 45 minutes per episode.

So this is going to be my archive of Japanese dramas that I've uploaded. As each episode is usually over 300 MB, I've split the files with HJ Split and uploaded them in pieces to Mediafire. This seres fillows Yamapi's character as he steals millions from would-be swindlers in rather clever schemes, while being hounded by his neighbor who wants him to quit (you'll quickly grow to hate her) and the police, who are on to him.
Comments: I adore this series. It holds a special place in my heart as being the first drama I watched all the way through. I really love the plot, and Yamapi plays his role soooo well in this show. I often wonder if the story's character was designed and written with Yamapi in mind. The only downsides are the girl who's trying to get him to quit ("annoying" doesn't quite cover it), and the absolutely awful acting of the cop after him. No, seriously. Check out his fake laugh.

I've recently really gotten into Acid Black Cherry after watching their PV for Spell Magic (as well as the PV for Black Cherry <3). I tracked down the lyrics on a Japanese lyrics site, transcribed them, compared them to a scan of the lyrics sheet, and THEN confirmed my transcription with my Japanese buddy. Then I romanized them. I might translate this song at a later date... for now, just be content in knowing it's about sex.

Comments:
☆ It's kinda hard to listen along to the song to make sure he pronounces all the words as they're written in the lyrics, but I'm fairly sure this is mostly accurate.
☆ This song seems to be about a really horny woman who wants to get laid.
☆ The "A B C" thing mentioned in the song has a couple meanings. One is the initials of the name of the band (Acid Black Cherry). The second is more of a Japanese culture thing. "ABC" is the "code" that guys use when talking to each other to discuss how far they've gotten with their girlfriend. Kind of like our "first base, second base, third base, home run" thing. As the song says, "A" is kissing, "B" is 'aibu' (touching), and "C" is, of course, sex. However, this system is kind of getting unpopular, I hear.
☆ Speaking of the "A B C" part, he doesn't say the letters, just the words in ( )'s after each letter.
☆ Oh yea, and before you ask, no, the distorted speech at the beginning of the song is NOT in the lyrics, and I have no idea what he's saying. I can pretty clearly hear him say "ABC" somewhere in there though.

Anime Upload Page!

Hello, and welcome to my anime upload page. ^0^ My friend has an account on a pay site for downloading anime, and I've decided to take the time to upload and share the series' that I find really exciting and fun to watch. This page will probably always be a work in progress as I find time to upload more episodes and add new series' that I like. Please be patient. ^0^

The episodes are uploaded to Mediafire (which boasts no download limit and no time limit for the files), but as Mediafire requires a 100MB cap on each file uploaded (and these episodes are around 170+ each), I've split the files using HJSplit; you will need HJSplit to put them back together. You can download HJSplit (if you don't happen to have it) HERE. I highly recommend it if you don't have it already! It's a spiffy little program and works super well. ^0^

Right, so you wanna download stuff, yeah? Here's how it works:

Comments:	This series was just cool. Really clean graphics, smooth animation, good stories. I tried playing the game forever ago but I failed utterly. Ahh well... I'd rather watch anyway. ^^

Summary:	A mysterious website called 地獄通信 ("Jigoku Tsuushinn," "Hell's Correspondence") claims it will take revenge on behalf of anyone who types in the name of someone they despise and clicks "send." If their request is accepted, a young girl with deep red eyes, Enma Ai, will arrive along with her three assistants and ferry the soul of the tormenter to hell. One small hitch; the person who sent the request will also be taken to hell at the end of their natural lives.
Comments:	While the live-action drama version of this show is much better in my opinion (though I haven't been able to watch more than four episodes with subtitles >.>;), the anime is definitely worth a look. It's also a bit scarier with its affects than the drama was. While watching it, I have to admit I spent some time thinking if I would have the guts to pull the string...

Summary:	Michiru Kita is a young schoolgirl who possesses what is called Shinigami Eyes: the ability to see black rings around the necks of those who are slated to die. She notices those rings around the necks of two boys at her school who supposedly survived a car accident, who, when they realize she can see the black rings, reveal to her that they did indeed die and now walk among the living as zombies.
Comments:	The animation took some getting used to (the style is a bit more angular than I'm used to), but the characters are fun and the female lead manages to NOT be irritating, while still being ditzy and cute. ^0^
